Maths 9Ay blog post

What is Pythagoras theorem? it is maths question that goes like this, A^2 + B^2 = C^2. That is a way of how you can do Pythagoras theorem. You would have to use this calculation to get C^2 otherwise you wouldn't be able to get the square root for this question.

This here is a right angle triangle, you would go A^2 = B^2 = C^2 and then go A=3 B=4 C=Hypo
and then 5^2 +4^2  = c^2 hypo.

The square roots you wanna get is the last equation answer & the first equations answer. If i was trying to get the square roots you would go like this. 5 on one side 20 on the bottom of the right angel triangle, and you would go like this 5+5 = 10 20 x 20 = 400 and then go 400 + 10 = 410 and then go 410 + 400 = 810 and you would go put 810 in your calculator to find the square root.Image result for square root
This here is a photo of a person trying to get the square root for his equation.
What am i given is the Pythagoras and i will need to calculate and do the equation to get the square root.

The proof of theory & formula. The proof and theory is that we can easily get the square root by calculating some numbers using the hypotenuse and Pythagoras theorem.

  1. Hello Logan, I really like how you have told me what Pythagoras theorem is and how it works. I also like how you have added images to help understand more.Great job!
